This series of hand-printed linocuts reimagines the architecture, streets, landmarks, and urban furniture of Paris through a process of unfolding and reconstruction. By transforming familiar spaces into unexpected visual compositions, each linocut print reveals a new perspective while retaining a subtle sense of recognition images that feel both unfamiliar and strangely familiar..
Rather than representing Paris as it appears, I reinterpret its forms by unfolding and reorganizing them into continuous graphic structures. These compositions invite viewers to look beyond conventional perspectives and discover hidden geometries within the city’s architecture and public spaces.
Each artwork is created using the traditional linocut printmaking technique. Every print is hand-carved and hand-printed, making each edition the result of a meticulous artisanal process that combines contemporary artistic research with the craftsmanship of fine art printmaking.
Through this body of work, I explore perception, memory, and the aesthetic potential of everyday urban environments, revealing new ways of seeing one of the world’s most iconic cities.
